Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) is an electric distribution utility which uses social media as the medium tool to reach its audience – the Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) and stakeholders.

We also take advantage of this medium to provide and disseminate appropriate information and issues affecting the electric cooperative and the electric power industry that can help solve the continuing challenges facing our sector.

We acknowledge questions, feedback and concerns raised by our Member-Consumer-Owners, but please note that this is a moderated online discussion site subject to management policies.

CENECO therefore, reserves the right to hide and/or delete public comments it may deem inappropriate including but not limited to the following:

• Remarks mixed with profanity or offensive elements;
• Off-topic comments;
• Any form of defamation or violence;
• Comments that infringe on copyrighted or trademarked materials;
• Posts that irresponsibly expose confidential or privileged information; and,
• Contents that promote, foster or inflict discrimination on the basis of race, age, political creed, religion, gender and physical or mental disability.

The views and opinions expressed by our followers in the comments section do not necessarily reflect that of the electric cooperative.

While we respect everyone’s right to free expression, we do not tolerate hate speech or any form of troll-like behavior. We will not hesitate to ban or block anyone who will exhibit such from accessing our page.

We classify trolls as those who have no serious online activities based on their profile pages and are hiding behind anonymous accounts to deliberately sow misinformation and/or disrupt social media conversations.

Complaints on frequent power interruptions and other technical issues are best addressed via direct message.

Please be guided. Thank you.
