CENECO SETS POWER INTERRUPTION ON MAY 12

Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers that maintenance activities will be conducted on May 12, Sunday. This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions. Details of this outage are as follows:

Date: May 12, 2024 – Sunday

Time: 6am to 10am

Reasons:
• Disconnection of automatic voltage regulator connecting regulated Bus and Bolted connections;
• Lifting and repair of one-unit automatic voltage regulator; and
• Reinstall and connect regulated Bus and Bolted connectors.

Areas Affected: Asdes Gonzaga Feeder 3 (AF 3) (portion only)
Mabini St. (from CENECO TO Galo St.), Galo St. (from Mabini to Gatuslao), Locsin St. (from Galo to Rizal), Nueva St., Alisbo, PLDT, Philam Life, Provincial Hospital (now Western Visayas Regional Hospital), Cordova Road, Rizal St. (Mabini St. to Lopez Jaena & Mabini St. to Lacson), Burgos St. (Lopez Jaena going to Gatuslao St.) LTO, Landbank, Hall of Justice, SSS Building, 888, portion of Brgy. 9, portion of Brgy. 11 and portion of Brgy. 17.

Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons. When electricity supply resumes, please provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
